The short film that I chose to view for this review was titled Ahead. Ahead was only 5 minutes but it got its meaning across in the opening shorts of the film. The director Ala Nunu does an excellent job at framing each of the characters in there natural states. The one creature itoa head makes breakfast for the other without a head. The entire film is a commentary on how important it is to have a good head on your shoulders. The cinematography is used to show the two paradigms in the film. On one end of the septum you have the creature with a good head on there shoulders that is trying to support the headless, or mindless, creature that is struggling to find identity at home. The moral of the film is to support your mind and others without sacrificing your own consciousness in the process. Overall a beautiful film with amazing animation and messaging.
